Mark FitzGibbons, who was one of the first visionaries for the future of Human Resources, founded our company in 1969. His extensive background and training in Human Resources from General Electric formed a solid foundation for a wide variety of clients, most of whom were new to the concept of using Human Resource Consultants.
Mark started small, with a set of medium sized companies, who utilized FitzGibbons Associates, Inc. as a source for expertise in a variety of Human Resource topical areas. Our Company quickly developed a reputation for high quality, effective solutions to some complex issues facing corporations. Mark’s untimely passing in 1987 began a series of events that took us to where we are now. In 1989, a new generation of owners took over, with Marc Rideout as President. Marc was also a General Electric alum, and he has continued the growth and evolution of FitzGibbons Associates, Inc. since then.
Today, our firm has grown well beyond what Mark FitzGibbons envisioned in 1969. We maintain the same business principles that have guided the firm since our inception:
- Provide more than our customers expect.
- Deal honestly and fairly with our customers.
- Avoid “one size fits all” solutions.
- Hire the best people.
Our clients include some of the largest and most widely respected companies in the world. We work internationally and maintain a top echelon staff of consultants with expertise in all facets of human resources and business operations. Clients consistently return for repeat business and recommend us to others. Through all the changes since 1969, we have maintained our focus on one goal: the client and their needs.
